What better way to finish your lunch with a dessert which is healthy light and delicious... I'm going to share the recipe of Banana, Oats ad Fig bars.. healthy power packed and can be a substitute for your lunch also if you are in a hurry...
BANANA OATS & FIG BARS
you need 3 bananas and almost 3 cups of oats ( simple or flavored ) I use strawberry and apple flavors to give the bars a extra fruity touch.
Mash the bananas , add the oats and puree of about 15-20 figs. Now add some nutmeg powder,a spoonful of honey. Add some slivered almonds, Bake it for about 20-25 mins in a non stick baking dish. Let it cool, cut into desired size and Voila... a healthy snack ready for you. very popular with kids too as they relish the fruity flavour..
